What data does Data Circuit collect about me?

Data Circuit is committed to collecting and storing only relevant information about it’s learners. This information could include but is not limited to: 

  • Login Credentials: Your username, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) password.
  • Profile Information: This could be your name, preferred language, time zone, profile picture and any other information enclosed in the ‘edit profile’ section.
  • Course Enrolment: The courses you're enrolled in and your progress.
  • Assessment Data: Scores on quizzes, exams, or assignments.
  • Course Completion: Records if you've finished a course and earned a certificate.
  • Payment Details: Billing information stored securely for subscription payments.
  • Social Learning Interactions: Community forum posts, discussions, or group interactions.


Please note, at any time you can access a copy of the data stored on Data Circuit servers by completing the following steps: 


1. Sign-in to your Data Circuit account. 

2. Hover your cursor over ‘My profile’ in the top right corner of your homepage and click ‘Edit Profile’. 

3. Click the ‘edit’ button (this can be found under your name). 

4. Choose ‘Privacy Settings’ from the selection pane. 

5. Click ‘Advanced Privacy Settings’

6. Click ‘Personal Data Access Request’. 

7. Follow the steps to confirm. 

 

Data Circuit will respond to your data access request within 28 days of submission at their earliest convenience.
